Per Gessle was born in Halmstad, Sweden in January 12th of
1959. Per's mother's name isElisabeth and his father's Kurt.
Per has a sister Gunilla and a brother Bengt, but he is the youngest
one in the family. The band of more
success that he played, before ROXETTE, was
Gyllene Tider (Golden Times).
It's one of the most famous bands in Scandinavia,
the band sold millions of albums. In 1983 Per released his
first solo album, soon one year later Gyllene Tider tried
to make international success and released a new album
n USA, with the name of ROXETTE. In the following year Per and Marie Fredriksson
began to work together with the name of
ROXETTE.
There's no doubt! We can call him as "The brain of ROXETTE"
